This is number one of three paintings. I composed this Painting from memory and from a couple of photo's I took up north, serval years ago. Some people call these Burch trees, it can be whatever you prefer.
About Melvin Turner
Hi, and welcome to my world of art. I am looking forward to having some fun with painting. After many years of working I am now retired and I have the time to devote to art. My love for Art goes back to when I was young and I have been drawing and painting for a long time. I have some formal training, I took art classes when I was in grade school and high school. I composed scenes for our school plays and bulletin boards. I also attended Faulkner State College studying commercial art. I have had some lessons and attended workshops. I continue to attend art classes and workshops to build on my knowledge in order to achieve a higher level of painting skills. I am fortunate to live in Fairhope AL, a city that promotes art.
